There are three booking options now available from Liz Rothschild. The overall message of these pieces is that engaging with our mortality, rather being depressing, brings relief, connection and inspiration. Do get in touch at [email protected] to discuss further.
Outside the Box – A live show about death. 55mins theatre performance of stories with props, music and postshow talk. A set script covering some but by no means all the topics covered in the book. Themes touched on – how our society handles death and dying, talking or not talking about death, funerals and the full range of options available, involvement of children, preparing for end of life, funeral poverty and a few comparisons with practise in other countries. (This is a face-to-face event not online).
Outside the Box – Everyday Stories of Death, Bereavement and Life. Readings from the book, conversation with the audience and Q&A. This can be shaped with the organisers to compliment or deepen themes they want to cover. See list of chapters for full scope of the material. The book is going into a second edition in 2022 and will include an expanded section on Covid-19. (This can be an online or face-to-face event).
Weathering the Storm – Stories of Love, Life, Loss and Discovery in the time of Covid. Readings from the book, conversations with the audience and Q and A. This book has just been released in February 2023, and is full of an amazing range of stories from a wide range of experts and individuals covering their experiences through the pandemic, and lessons that can be learnt.
