I was with my mother when she died at home of cancer. My aunt and I were supporting my father. The most difficult time was afterwards when my aunt told me not to cry in front of my dad as I had to be strong for him. But I felt I was losing my mum.
A young relative of mine is seriously ill at present and her young life is in the balance. Your words this evening have made sense and reinforced my sense of need to be seen and supportive together with her mother and others. Thank you so much.
